Scheduled for Saturday April 4. The 2026 Masters is a 9 hole individual stroke play event. Entry fee is only $30\, with 100% awarded to the top 1/3 of the field for both low gross and low net scores\, as well as closest to the pin on all par 3’s and a long drive hole as well. \nKemperSports is happy to support their favorite Golf Club\, offering all tournament players 25% off all food and beverage from Porch 1919 for the entire day (breakfast\, lunch and your favorite beverages!) as well as allowing us to block tee times for up to 80 players. Our top 2 teams advance to the NCGA qualifying round that takes place at a number of different golf courses. DESCRIPTION:It’s time to kickoff our MVGC 2026 tournament season\, Saturday March 7\, with The Players Championship! \nFormat: “Chapman Scotch” – 2 person teams – open to men and women. Both players drive\, play each others tee shot for their second shot\, then pick the best result and play alternate shot until the ball is holed. Pick your own partner\, or sign up as a single and we will pair you with a partner. Players handicaps must be within 10 shots. If more\, the higher handicap will be adjusted down to comply. This is a 9 hole event – teams will receive half of the combined 9 hole handicaps. Hole #8 has water hazard\, DSH creek… \nEntry Fee: $30 – plus appropriate green fee. 100% of entry fees will be awarded as prize money! The top 3 teams in the field will cash\, to be divided between gross and net scores. Additional prizes for 3 closest to the pins and long drive. \nFood & Bev: All tournament players will receive a 25% discount for the entire day from our awesome new food truck\, Porch 1919. All participants should be able to play both the sectional and the championship dates before entering.
