Here are the details: 2 player team event with prizes for both gross and net scores. This year is a nine hole competition\, holes 1-3 scoring is better – ball\, 4-6 is a straight up alternate shot\, bring it home on holes 7-9 playing scramble. Post your score\, have a beverage and see if you’re crowned the first winners of our Member/ Member. Handicapping will be half oghchgf the team total\, with partners handicaps within 10 of each other\, if it’s more the higher player will reduce to that 10 differential. Your entry of $40 gets you into the fray\, with all monies into the pot. Will pay a third of the field\, also includes closest to the pin on all par AND a 25% discount all day at The Porch…breakfast sando\, couple of travelers\, maybe a smile for Niall… stories and memories at no extra charge! \nEntries have a hard close at end of day Tuesday\, May 12th. DESCRIPTION:Format: Individual Stableford! \nThis tournament is set for Sunday\, June 14. Entries will close end of day Tuesday June 9\, make a commitment and sign up early to help us protect the tee times necessary. \nHere’s the scoop: this will be a 9 hole individual game. Keeping the flavor of a National Open\, the course will be a challenging one\, with a mixture of different tee and hole locations. If you think the “Ritchie” pins can be difficult\, come try your skill and luck as your Personal Pro will be handling the course set up for this one. With the test at hand\, scoring will be a Stableford / Points system. Prizes will be awarded for both gross and net\, this event will let all players play with their full handicap. \nPoints will be awarded as follows:\nEagle is worth 5 points.\nBirdie is worth 3 points.\nPar will get you 1 point.\nBogey is a zero\, but better make that as anything more than a bogey is a minus 1 and pick it up! \nEntry fee is $40\, plus your appropriate green fee. Our prizes are getting BIGGER. Let’s get a good showing for this one; you may sign up alone or request a pairing preference as well as early – middle – late in the field… tee time window will be decided by number of players\, let’s fill the sheet and enjoy another good time out on our beautiful course. \nLook for entry to open soon for the NCGA Senior 4ball net qualifier. DESCRIPTION:Here’s your chance to play two rounds at Poppy Hills in the NCGA Senior 4-Ball Net Tournament\, while representing the Mill Valley Golf Club! \nDetails:\n\nQualifying date is Friday\, June 26. This is an 18 hole qualifier.\nTournament dates at Poppy Hills are August 31 & September 1\nPlayers must be age 55 or older as of tournament date.\nThis is a two player better-ball net qualifier. Players will play to a maximum index of 18.4\, then\nreceive 85% of their index. Players with higher index may compete at the Max of 18.4.\nGrab a partner and take advantage of this amazing opportunity. Entry fee is only $40 per player\n(plus appropriate green fees). The greatest Golf Club around is picking up the tab for you and\nyour partner to play two days in the Monterey forest. \nEntires will open Wednesday June 10 and close end of day Tuesday June 23.
