Music by The 85’s
The 85’s are a “Totally Rad” dance party band performing high energy and “true to the original” renditions of classic pop and rock songs from the 80’s! Since forming the group in 2005 the band has been entertaining audiences at major clubs, private events and outdoor festivals with their myriad of classic songs from the 80’s era from artists such as: The Clash, Devo, English Beat, Eurythmics, The Fixx, Madonna, Police, Pretenders, Prince, Journey, and Van Halen!
The band was formed by three Marin musicians; Monroe Grisman- Guitar/vocals, Adam “Bagel” Berkowitz-Drums/vocals, Django Bayless- Bass/vocals all of whom graduated from Tamalpais High School in 1985 and then went on to perform with some of the North Bay’s favorite bands over the past 20 years as current or former members of: Petty Theft, AZ/DZ, About Face, American Drag, Jerry Hannan and Noelle Hampton. The band also features the superb lead vocal talent of April Grisman
Catered by Food By Shein
Chef Ben is a classically trained Cordon Bleu chef graduating from the Californian Culinary Academy in 2004. He then started his catering company, Food with Shein, which has taken him across the San Francisco Bay area, catering for clients from all walks of life, at a variety of occasions.
Chef Ben has devised unique menus and taste sensations for a wealth of occasions such as private events from 7 course plated private winemaker tasting dinners, to corporate parties on Chartered yachts and family style weddings. He’s also catered NASCAR events, Marin film festival, Healdsburg Jazz Festival and much more. Here are the highlights of the menu Chef Ben is serving at our Holiday Party:
- Small bite appetizers
- Beef filet with rosemary and a bourbon demi glace
- Pan seared sea bass with lemon, butter, capers and sun dried tomatoes
- Classic Caesar salad
- Farro salad with mixed greens
- Grilled asparagus and zucchini
- Bite sized desserts to enjoy between dance moves!
