Players Championship – Spring Kickoff
It’s time to kickoff our MVGC 2026 tournament season, Saturday March 7, with The Players Championship!
Format: “Chapman Scotch” – 2 person teams – open to men and women. Both players drive, play each others tee shot for their second shot, then pick the best result and play alternate shot until the ball is holed. Pick your own partner, or sign up as a single and we will pair you with a partner. Players handicaps must be within 10 shots. If more, the higher handicap will be adjusted down to comply. This is a 9 hole event – teams will receive half of the combined 9 hole handicaps. Hole #8 has water hazard, DSH creek…
Entry Fee: $30 – plus appropriate green fee. 100% of entry fees will be awarded as prize money! The top 3 teams in the field will cash, to be divided between gross and net scores. Additional prizes for 3 closest to the pins and long drive.
Food & Bev: All tournament players will receive a 25% discount for the entire day from our awesome new food truck, Porch 1919. Breakfast and lunch items, beer and cocktails, as much or as little as you prefer to add to this full day of friendship, fun, and stories.

Entry is limited to the first 80 players and will close Feb 28. Waiting lists will be available and monitored from there.
