A Word from the President
Spring has arrived slowly but the longer days will dry out the course and allow the awesome course maintenance crew time to cut all the grass. Try to sign up early for every second Wednesday Club Dinner. Thanks to Heath and Gretchen for the best Corned Beef that I have ever eaten last month!
Special thanks to the Touchstone Course Maintenance Crew, Greg Hall, Fernando and Richie, for the outstanding greens conditions and challenging pin placements.
See you all at the next Championship!

Rules/Handicap
As of January 2024, your 9 hole scores count towards your handicap index right away!
The way this works is when a player posts a 9 hole score, the WHS will automatically calculate an 18 hole Score Differential and expected Score Differential based on their current Handicap Index. This is opposed to previous method in which you would have to wait until you posted another 9 holes for the scores to be combined. As part of this change, golfers are required to play all 9 holes of a course with a valid Course and Slope Rating. After the many changes in the works to improve our beautiful course over this year we will be working to have the Course and Slope Rating updated.
More info can be found on the USGA website.
Thanks so much, get out there and enjoy!

At April’s meeting and dinner, we enjoyed Heath’s Jamaican feast, indulging in a culinary journey to the Caribbean with savory Jerk Chicken Wings and Fish, accompanied by Coconut Jasmine Rice, fresh Salad, and refreshing Red Stripe Beers.
